Weekend ?

I agree...it's not fair for you..the ones that have to work tomorrow..but look at the good part..at least it's Friday. I am lucky as I have tomorrow off and I am heading to Budapest for a long weekend .
I am sure I'll have a beer there and try some of the local food. I'll bring you back pictures. Promise ! But till then I'll show some dishes I had in France, right at the border with Switzerland, when, heading towards my one week summer holiday in Italy I lost the connecting train. So, what else better to do than to enjoy some drinks and a nice meal . ..those summer days....

Fair enough, I admit the food is not exactly ' summer food ' but food is my weak point...I just cannot stop myself from trying all the time different things..preferably the ones that have weird names on the menu..and if they taste good..then calories are a distant memories..

A bit of chocolate

Well..It's Monday..So I guess a bit of chocolate cannot harm anyone..it gives us a bit of energy to go through the week..
From the Mexican God Quetzalcoatl to Nestle, from the cocoa beams to the today's famous truffles, we all love,like,devore or... avoid chocolate..
Last summer I visited with my family the Cailler Maison du Chocolat, a nice experience that ended with a chocolate tasting .

Sunday feeling

It's Sunday in the night...for all of those who do not have to work and most probable you have heard this before but it's actually true..Enjoy each moment you have...Now..for the rest, the ones that tomorrow have to work..the Sunday feeling it's quite tricky..
For example..if you have a good weekend, you just feel nostalgic that it's over..you wish maybe ' one more day '..it's always the same , isn't it..All of us..we all wish for that ' one more day ' , either to keep enjoying things,either to finish things we didn't have time for...one more day to study, one more day to read this, one more day to clean,one more day to rest, one more day to finish the series we are watching...I guess we have all been in that phase of ' one more day ' ... although most probable if we had it, at the end of it we could still use 'one more'...

I had a really nice weekend..relaxing,active,normal,extraordinary..was just MY weekend that I enjoyed..I have the feeling of one more day...but maybe it's good  like this as I get to appreciate it more...

I would like to share with you some of the dishes I enjoy in the weekend..Tagliatelle with salmon and I invite you all to a glass of white wine ! Cheers and have a good week ahead ! After that...another weekend to follow..
