This is a new type of salad I did on Friday after work . I has a recipe cut out of a newspaper some time ago that I was just keeping it there til I got to buy the celery so now that I had it I thought I have to try it..Cut the celery in the small pieces, add apple cut in small parts and ' dress' with lemon juice, salt, olive oil and fresh pepper.
This is the result just before having that salad with some olives and toasted bread, while watching ' The Paper boy ' .
Now..It's Sunday night and as always there are still many things I need to do to start my week prepared..and as always..I always to it in the last minute..So good night ..

Valentine's day..but not only..
Well, I had a really nice day on 14 February but I do not believe it is because of all the fuss and the commercials around it..but more because I was with who I wanted to be, relaxed and enjoyed a nice afternoon together (since we have to work..afternoon are all we have during the week)..
Though the picture below seems appropriate for a Valentine's night ..we had this table for Sunday's lunch...I guess the restaurant invested some time in arranging and preparing for the 14 that they didn't want to clean up everything immediately after..Anyway..it made a sunday's lunch friendlier then usually..
I had lunch in a restaurant in St. Cergue, a family owed business where the food was tasty but the service really slow..
On the menu that day : salad, soup, a Morrocan dish and the traditional schnitzel with smashed potatoes...and on top a Torta della Nona that was just delicious..

Back in time ...
This is because I have collected the pictures taken all this time but I had no time to write..or maybe I had time but got quite lazy and focused only on watching movies (in this weekend only I saw 6 movies and still counting)..Now I am catching up with my pics of dishes tasted or made by me..
The soup here and the rice with chicken were our lunch in a small restaurant in Carouge. A place that looked like home, people were friendly and the food was fresh and tasty.
